Altaira Property Management was founded on a simple belief: volunteer board members should not feel like they are carrying the operational burden of the association by themselves.

Strong communities require more than attending meetings and responding to emails. They require planning, follow-through, preventative maintenance, vendor accountability, compliance oversight, and clear communication throughout the year.

About Guillermo Ruiz

Altaira is led by Guillermo Ruiz, a Naples-area community association manager with more than a decade of experience serving condominium and homeowner associations throughout Southwest Florida.

Born in Colombia and raised in Naples from an early age, Guillermo entered the industry from the operational side of the business, supporting managers before eventually overseeing associations, teams, and portfolios totaling more than $10 million in annual budgets.

Throughout his career, he has been fortunate to work with many outstanding board members, community leaders, business owners, and mentors. People from different professions, backgrounds, and walks of life each brought unique perspectives that helped shape his understanding of leadership, service, and what it takes to build strong communities.

Their influence, combined with years of hands-on operational experience, helped form the philosophy behind Altaira Property Management: stay organized, communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and always keep the long-term interests of the community in mind.
